Full Stride formed in the late 1970’s, in a legendary time for rock music in New Jersey, the vision of some Jersey guys seeking a bit of spending money and a good time. They played many of the local rock clubs of that time, long since closed, such as Giggles, Mother’s, The Orbit Inn, Traces, The Main Event and The Stable.
Fast forward to 2015 – A few of the original members come back together for a charity gig, and it was so much fun they kept going. Despite busy jobs and other musical projects, they recruited a bass player and a lead guitarist to round out the band, and found the time to rehearse the old songs and a bunch of new ones at the now defunct Broccoli Rabe Studios and Woodrock Rehearsal Studios. Full Stride continues to entertain audiences with a highly professional sound, playing danceable Classic rock, R&B and New wave, with multi-part harmonies, keyboards, guitars, drums and sax – music that will take you back to the classic NY/NJ rock club days of the 70’s and 80’s.
